Building on the strong foundation of our SLAM FIXED® Nordic luminaires, the Novo 2LED luminaire is a new iteration in our fixed Ex luminaire portfolio. Featuring two independent LED units in a linear arrangement, the Novo 2LED maximizes reliability in extreme conditions, able to withstand ambient temperatures as low as -40 °C and as high as +55 °C.
The robust polycarbonate frame and high-quality components help give the luminaires extremely long life, no matter how harsh the conditions are. SLAM FIXED® luminaires last as much as five times longer than fluorescent luminaires.
Our luminaires also emit more lumens than comparable fluorescent luminaires. Replacing fluorescent installations with SLAM FIXED® luminaires gives your workers better visibility, improving both efficiency and safety.
With a Color Rendering Index (CRI) above 80, you get great color distinction. Our SafeEye® technology also makes LED work lights safer and more pleasant to work with, smoothing the light by spreading the beam without significantly reducing lumens. All our fixed luminaires and are op is rated (IEC 60079-28).
SLAM FIXED® luminaires are made from durable, dissipative polymers for excellent corrosion resistance. To ensure maximum ruggedness, our shock-testing protocol far exceeds normal standards. Yet they are surprisingly lightweight, which helps ease installation and reduces stress on brackets and frames over the years. The luminaires are fully repairable, and all the components are replaceable.
The entire luminaire construction is also completely dissipative. There is no risk of static charge build-up, so you can safely clean the installed luminaires. Even a dry cloth cannot create an explosion risk!
